Pray America announces their 1st Annual Pray America Charity Golf Tournament on Monday September 27th at the Tega Cay Golf Course.  Proceeds benefit Pray America. JAARS Day—a free Saturday event designed for you and your family to learn more about worldwide Bible translation and how JAARS supports it through technology and transportation support services will be held at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw.  Our next JAARS Days will be 9:00am–3:00pm on October 2nd.  Activities Activities vary for each JAARS Day, but at most events you can: Watch aviation demonstrations. • Learn how Bible translators work. • Interact with most of our departments. • Chat with translators and other missionary speakers. • Attend missionary stories and other events for children. Our gift shop and translation-focused museums are also open during each JAARS Day. Weather permitting, each JAARS Day includes the opportunity to experience our transportation services first-hand. The Pregnancy Resource Center of Stanly County will be hosting the annual Walk for Life On Saturday, October 16th. Registration begins at 9:00am in the Pavilion at the YMCA Park on N. Second Street and is followed by a 2 mile walk. The day will wrap up with music and refreshments.
